Online registrations are now closed. We are almost at capacity for dancers tickets (RM 215) and only have limited number of non-dancer Saturday balcony seated tickets (RM 75) left.

Swing to Penang with Adam Hall & The Velvet Playboys: A swing jazz extravaganza
A 1920s swing jazz party is coming to Georgetown this August 11th, and you’re invited to the glitziest show in town! Making a much-anticipated return to Penang, Adam Hall & The Velvet Playboys are headlining Swing 2 Penang, an international dance event that welcomes vintage jazz dancers from all over the world. This six-piece jazz band from Australia has toured extensively, won multiple accolades, and is guaranteed to keep the crowd swinging through the night with their extensive repertoire of swing jazz standards. For one-night only, experience the magic of live music, swing dance performances and dancing at E&O’s Grand Ballroom. See you there! We are now offering non-dancer tickets, for our main event on Saturday. These are seated tickets on the balcony of the ballroom overlooking live music, dancing, and performances. Register Now! Swing to Penang: Weekend of dancing, eating, and exploring
Tier 2 tickets are now available for sale. We have Student and Group discounts available until May 31st, so sign up fast! Upon registering, you will have 24 hours to complete your payment. If you fail to pay on time, your initially locked in ticket price will be forfeited and you may have to pay a different price subject to tier availability. Ticket price covers entrance to Friday night social, Saturday night party, and Sunday afternoon activities. See programme for details. Additional group activities (e.g. organised tours) might be offered at an additional cost at a later date. We have introduced a follower waitlist in order to keep the lead to follow ratio reasonable. Waitlist will be processed based on the order of registrations received. Sign-up with another lead to bypass the waitlist. Check out the ticket schedule below:

Student Discount on Individual tickets
We are offering a special group discount for a group of 8 dancers who come from the same country. It's only available for Tier 2 and is valid for the first 6 groups that sign up OR until May 31st, whichever comes first.
How to apply for group discount: Once Tier 2 registration opens, one designated person (who represents the group) should fill out the registration form and provide the names, emails, and role of all 8 dancers. The group representative will then pay the discounted price for the whole group. Once the group has been registered successfully, each dancer must also register themselves. They must use the exact First Name and Last Name entered in the group registration, and select - Ticket Type: "Register Group Member (Group already registered)" How to apply student discount to an individual ticket: When signing up for Swing 2 Penang, students will have the option of purchasing discounted Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3 tickets. Select Student Discount and you'll automatically receive 10% off the effective ticket price. Ticket cancellations/transfers: All ticket sales are final and no refunds will be offered. However, if you're unable to attend the event, you are allowed to transfer your ticket to another person who dances in the same role (or can both lead & follow). It is your responsibility to find your replacement and inform us of the transfer, as well as the new dancer's details before Aug 9th, 2018. |
