Penang Hill & The Habitat
Here are the details about Penang Hill and The Habitat before you decide:
Getting to Penang Hill / The Habitat
In order to get to Habitat, you will need to either take a public bus (http://www.penanghill.gov.my/index.php/en/destination/bus-taxi.html) or Grab to Bukit Bendera Cable Car (https://goo.gl/maps/CEagVd1uSbH2). Once there, you take the funicular up to Penang Hill. There you can walk around and explore. If you're also going to the Habitat, there will be a free shuttle to the entrance of The Habitat. The funicular and the The Habitat has different tickets, but the promo price allows you to combine the two.
Please also note that there is an annual event happening this Sunday morning, so there will be more people at Penang Hill than usual (Unfortunately I learned of it after registration closed, sorry!):

Regular price for Malaysians (MyKad or MM2H):

Adult: RM 10
Adult fast lane: RM 40
Child: RM 5
Child fast lane: RM 20
Regular Price for non-Malaysians (Round Trip):
Adult: RM 30
Adult fast lane: RM 80
Child: RM 15
Child fast lane: RM 40
If you only want to take a one-way ticket and walk back down to the Botanic Gardens, you can buy a one-way ticket for half the return price

Transportation
We suggest that you take Grab whenever traveling around Penang, as parking is usually difficult to find. There is also public buses and a free bus service available around George Town.
